The Mitsubishi 360° multi-camera system helps you drive and park with ease and confidence. The cameras are a special feature of most Mitsubishi models. Together, they offer a bird’s eye, composite view of your vehicle and its surroundings. There are four cameras. One is mounted on the front grill. Wide-angle cameras are mounted on both side-view mirrors (left and right). The fourth camera is embedded on the outside of the trunk. All four cameras on the vehicle collaborate and project images of your surroundings while you’re driving, backing up, or parking. The cameras also project a bird’s eye view and a wide-angle view.
With these cameras, drivers get four views:
- 360°
- backside
- curbside
- side view
Parking
Now parking is easier and faster with this Mitsubishi technology. Since you get clear views from all around, blind spots are no longer a problem. When you are pulling into a particular spot, one camera detects obstructions while the others guide you along so that you are parking correctly. It helps you avoid getting too much over your parking grid lines. In addition, the backup camera helps you get into the space without worrying about blind spots. You will always know what is behind you.
Perpendicular parking is a breeze with this feature. You can easily see the grid lines and park in the center. This ensures you’re not parking too far off on one side or the other. As you’re pulling into a spot, the proximity sensor will emit alert sounds to indicate if you are too close to another vehicle, curb, and obstruction. Using the camera view, you can adjust your vehicle accordingly.
Driving
As you drive ahead, the camera displays dynamic yellow lines that indicate your path. If obstructions such as other vehicles, people, structures come up, the lines adjust to prompt you to change your path.
The Multi-View Camera system is one of the top Mitsubishi features. Although it is not a substitute for visual verification, it ensures safe driving at all times.
